Outreach Committee - 23rd Feb., Family Worship in Lyle Kirk, Union Street, 10.30, followed by lunch. Please come and share your lunch with our twinned congregation, St Andrew’s, Zimbabwe; no tickets but donations are requested. Life in Zimbabwe is harder than ever because of the hope that rose when Mr Mugabe’s reign ended only to be blighted so soon. Inflation is back to 300%; teachers are paid half the recognised poverty rate; there is no old age pension and under-paid doctors and nurses are tempted to charge extra for medication, if medication is available at all.
Volunteers will be welcomed to help with setting up the sanctuary beforehand and table setting on Saturday, as well as serving and clearing on Sunday. Please contact Margaret Foggie 724622 or 07918965154
